小学校３年生の原爆

まず、原爆のアニメを見せ、
原水爆の威力のビデオを見せ、
人類が何度も全滅する量の核兵器備蓄を説明するうち、
真ん丸な目をして話を聞く、何も知らない子供に、
そもそも、何で未だに世界はこんなにひどい状態であるということを説明しなくちゃいけないんだ思い、
子供に責任のある大人として、とても情けなく、恥ずかしく、泣きたくなった。
A-bomb education to 3rd grader elementary school kid
On Aug 6th, A-bomb day, I explained 3rd grader kid what A-bomb is.
1st thing, showed animation on A-bomb,
Then showed the power of A-bomb, H-bomb,
And current global stockpiling of A-bomb that can make human-being to go extinct several times, etc. ...
As I explained to my kid with wide opened innocent round eyes wishing to know what that is,
I felt, why the hell we have to explain kids that current world is still in such a terrible situation.
As an adult responsible for kids, I felt very sad, ashamed and crying.
