DNAに生命のすべての設計図が入っていることは皆知っている。AGCTの塩基の組み合わせが60億で、そこにすべて書いてあるという話だ。塩基配列の解析は手間がかかり、人については、あと、100年はかかるといわれていた。All know that DNA has all draft of life. Analyze each chopped up pieces, then later computer matches up end base pattern to regenerate whole sequence. Thanks to this guy, whole human gene sequence, that was supposed to take another 100yrs, suddenly became available for all.
さて、配列は明確になったものの、その読み方の研究はまだ始まったばかりだ。AIは人工的に脳の仕組みを真似しようとする試みだが、脳の仕組みもこの塩基配列に書き込まれているわけだ。始まったばかりの分野なので、AIの観点からも出来ることは多いのではないかと思い、便利なサイトを探してみた。今日発見したDBCLSのサイトは、無料で自由に塩基が検索できる。Although sequence became clear, decoding has just started to find out the way to interpret it. AI is the attempt to mimic human brain artificially, but the design of the brain is also described in this gene sequence. This is a very much new field of study, I believe there should be a lot to do from AI's perspective. Hence I looked for convenient site today and found nice one from DBCLS where you can make free search for base sequence.
