ChatGPTの脅威と限界
The Limitation of Amazing ChatGPT
昨年末にリリースされたChatGPTだが、自分で試したのはつい最近だ。ChatGPT以前にあった多くのChatソフトは話しを始めるとすぐに何も理解していないことが分かるレベルであった。The ChatGPT was released last year however, it is only recent that I tested myself. Before ChatGPT, lots of Chat softwares have been very discouraging level that people can see very easily that they do not really understand anything.
このため、世間が会話ソフトで騒いでいるのは昨年１２月ごろには薄々気づいていたが、どうせまたガッカリするだけだろうと思っていた。Hence I aware that people are talking about new chat software around last Dec however, I had no special energy to go after further since I thought it will only discourage me again.
しかし、１月末になりChatGPTはやはりすごいという熱が高まってきたように感じた。そこでようやく私も試してみることにした。Nevertheless, even at the point of January this year, people are still taking about ChatGPT for its greatness. Hence I decided to test on my own.
メール認証でアカウントを作成すれば無料で利用できる。Account creation and its use are free just by mail authorization.
幾つかの知識系の質問をしてみたが完璧だった。まるで人格が中に入っているような感じを受けた。I made couple of common sense question and found out the answer is perfect. I felt as if some independent personality sits inside.
喜ぶべきことは、もう、「何ができるか？」でなく、「何ができないか？」を探さなくてはいけないことだ。One exciting point now is that now we need to look for something CpatGPT cannot do but not what ChatGPT can do.
いろいろやってみた結果、I tried couple of test and found out that,
１）視覚がないのだから当然だが、空間把握はできない。I cannot capture space since it has no vision. This is quite understandable.
２）要約ができない。全体として何を言おうとしているのかがまとめられない。It cannot summarize the whole sentences. It cannot comprehend what is the main theme of the story.
３）数学には弱い。So far not good at math.
などの弱点はあるが、これからが楽しみだ。Althogh it has such weaknesses at this point, I am very much looking for the future progress.
以下、会計士、弁護士、医師の反応。いずれも、そのすごさを認めるが、今一歩という判定。Below are the reactions from accountant, attorney and medical doctor. All admits its greatness however it look it is not reached at the professional level.
