旧型プリウス２３００キロ安定走破
Old-Model Prius Completes 2,300 Kilometers of Stable Driving
北海道で、２３００キロ走ってきた。走行距離２０万キロ超（中古価格５０万円前後、年式２００４位からのプリウスS）で正直なところ当初心配したが、カーブでの路面のグリップが良く、車体の傾きもほとんど感じられない。加速はいいし、延々と続く直線道路での高速時の安定性も非常に良かった。燃費は２０KM/L強程度。I recently drove 2,300 kilometers across Hokkaido. Initially, I was concerned because the Prius S I was driving had over 200,000 kilometers on the odometer (with a used price around 500,000 yen, from a 2004 model or so). However, the car had excellent grip on curves, and I hardly felt any body roll. The acceleration was good, and the stability at high speeds on the long, straight roads was also very impressive. Fuel efficiency is just over 20 km/L.
ただ、カーナビは使い物にならないのと、リアカメラが低品質なのはいつもの事で仕方がない。That said, the navigation system was useless, and as usual, the rear camera was of low quality, but that’s something I’ve come to expect.
前回は最新型のプリウスで３０００キロ走ったが、プリウスは最新型でなくても十分信頼できると感じた。On a previous trip, I drove 3,000 kilometers in the latest Prius model, but I realized that even an older Prius can be just as reliable.
