今年は８月上旬でも北海道は酷暑。旭山動物園のレッサーパンダは木の上で伸びて、動かない。This year, even in early August, Hokkaido is experiencing intense heat. The red pandas at Asahiyama Zoo are stretched out on the trees, hardly moving. 

でも、アザラシはいつものように、悠々とチューブの中で遊んでいる。何代目のアザラシなのだろう？However, the seals are playing leisurely in the tube as usual. I wonder, which generation of seals are these?
