My Number Card Changes the Society
マイナンバーカードを受け取った。１年ほど前に電子申請したが、当時は申請受付番号の連絡メールも送られないシステムで、１か月後に問い合わせしても申請の事実はないと言われる始末だった。最近になってもう一度試してみたところ、今度は申請受付番号の連絡メールが来た。システムを改善したようだ。Just got My Number Card( Social Security Number). I requested one year ago electronically however, the request system was poor enough not to be able to issue request number to applicants. I waited one month and made confirmation to find out that there is no request made. I tried recent and this time system was improved to return request number.
現在のところ、実質的にはカードを配布しただけで、その実際の利用は限られているため利便性は殆ど無い。日本ではマイナンバーの全面活用には全方面からの抵抗が大きい。合理化は仕事を減らすし、情報が犯罪に利用された場合、その被害も大きくなる。戦争で赤紙を受け取った国民は拒否反応が遺伝子に刷り込まれているという話もある。At this point, there is no advantage to obtain the card since its use are limited except the fact that the card was distributed. There are big resistance from all aspects for the extensive use of My Number in Japan. That is because efficient system will reduce works, and if information is abused, the damage will go bigger. Someone also explains that citizens who got war warrant in history are inheriting genetically to go allergic to the national serial numbers.
一方、国家統制が強い中国などは一気に展開できその恩恵をいち早く受けることでさらに競争力を増す。Meanwhile, a country with strong control such as China, can extend the use very quick hence can enjoy the benefit to increase its competitiveness.
高度にデジタル化、国際化されてきた社会において、通し番号なしに社会システムを維持管理するのはあまりにも時代遅れで、相対的に非効率だ。既に下落の一途である日本の国際競争力の足を更に引っ張りかねない。In a highly digitized and global society, it is too outdated and relatively inefficient to manage society without serial number. Such avoidance will further accelerate already declining Japan's global competitiveness.
今後、紆余曲折はあるものの、下に列記した分野を始め、あらゆる分野にマイナンバーは浸透していくべきだろう。その効果は弊害を補って余りあるものがあるはずだ。Going forward, with back and forth, My Number will go through whole area including below. And its benefit should surpass the downsides.
