不完全ながらも存在する治療薬も有効に生かされることなく事態は悪化を極めているのが歯痒い。死者の大部分は高齢者で、副作用の出ない高齢者にアビガンを手渡せば死なずに済むのに。もし、アビガンを適切に配布できていれば、現在３万人の死者のうち、２万人は回復していたと思われる。政府は治験を６月末に終えると発表したが、６月末では感染爆発に間に合わないのは明らかだ。アビガンがあれば本来死ななくても済んだ国民が、多く死ぬことになるだろう。It is tantalizing to see the Avigan, even if it is not perfect, is not used to cure patients while situation is getting worse on worst case scenario. Most of victims are elderly hence they will not go under side effect of Avigan, hence could have been saved. I estimate we could have saved 2 mio lives out of 3 mio death up to now if we could have distributed Avigan to the world patients properly. Government announced the completion of test at the end of June but it is obviously too late for infection explosion. Many people will die although they are not supposed to die if Avigan is available.

Also logically clear is that teratogenic side effect has nothing to do with elderly layer where we see most of death. Finally it is clear that ventilator may work but has restriction on device availability as well as beds.
これらから導かれる最適解は、アビガンを患者に配布し、自宅療養してもらうことだ。Optimal solution that we can deduce from these conditions is, simply to distribute Avigan to patients and ask them to stay home for recovery.
